Means of Verbalization of the Concept "DISEASE" in English

In recent decades, the greatest attention in research on cognitive linguistics is paid to concept and study of means its verbalization different languages. Linguists believe that "among universal concepts can be attributed “ DISEASE" concept, which reflects national-specific (social, ethical, moral) ideas about phenomenon disease". The article considers problem conceptualization "DISEASE" English verbalization. author specifics lexical units represent this by language. relevance lies need specify data language means, as consideration has not been given sufficient attention. purpose analyze peculiarities English-language picture world. Materials methods . use descriptive comparative methods, etymological contextual analysis contributed selection semantic features "DISEASE", substantiation material for were dictionary articles from dictionaries, texts medical discourse, work foreign researchers issue.
